How to tailor your CV for a marketing executive job in the UK
Marketing graduate ads look for evidence that you have run real campaigns and read the numbers. Even a society Instagram account counts if you can show a result.
Keywords to look for in the job ad
Check the ad for these words. Use them only where your experience genuinely backs them up.

What to show
+Give a number: followers, open rate, sign-ups, attendance.
+Name the platforms and tools you used.
+Show you wrote or designed something, and link a portfolio if you have one.
A common mistake
Describing duties ('ran the society Instagram') instead of results ('grew followers from 300 to 1,100 in a term').
Example bullet, before and after
Before
Managed the society's social media.
After
Ran the society's Instagram and email list, growing followers from [add: start] to [add: end] and lifting event sign-ups through weekly posts and a Canva-designed newsletter.
Items in [square brackets] are for you to fill in with real figures. Never add numbers you cannot back up.
