Terms of service

These terms apply to your use of ShortlistCV, run by Building Genius. Contact: buildinggeniuss@gmail.com.

The service

ShortlistCV uses AI to rewrite a CV for a job ad you provide and to draft a cover letter and keyword checklist. A free preview is offered. The full pack costs £4.99 per application, paid once through Stripe. Prices include any VAT that applies.

Delivery and your right to cancel

The pack is digital content delivered immediately after payment. Before paying you are asked to agree that delivery starts straight away and that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once it does.

Refunds

If your pack fails to generate or download, we will fix it or refund you in full. Email us within 14 days of purchase. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Your responsibility

• The output is AI-generated. Read every line and make sure it is accurate and true before you send it to an employer.
• Only paste a CV and job ad you are entitled to use.
• We cannot promise interviews, job offers or that an applicant tracking system will accept your CV.
• Do not misuse the service, attempt to bypass payment, or overload it.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the pack concerned.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
